Cruisea is designed to be simple, ad free, and respectful of your data.
We store the itineraries and account data needed to show your cruises back to you inside Cruisea. If you contact support, we also store the information you choose to send with that request.
Cruisea does not show third-party adverts and we do not track you across other companies’ apps or websites for advertising. If enabled, we may collect Apple’s AdServices attribution token so we can understand whether an App Store download came from Apple Search Ads.
For in-app subscriptions and purchase restoration, Cruisea sends limited account and subscription information to RevenueCat, our subscription platform. This can include your Cruisea user ID, purchase history, subscription status, app user identifiers, display name, and related store transaction data so purchases can be validated, restored, supported, and reflected correctly in the app.
We share data only with service providers and platform partners needed to run Cruisea, such as RevenueCat for subscription management and Apple for App Store purchases, renewals, and refunds. We do not sell your personal data.
We may occasionally request location access only when it is necessary to provide contextual information about your ship or nearest port. It is never mandatory to use the app.
If you contact support using the in-app form, additional information may be included. The exact values are shown before you submit, and you can opt out.
By using Cruisea and making in-app purchases, you consent to our sharing, through RevenueCat where applicable, of data about your use and consumption of purchased content with Apple when this is needed to respond to refund requests. This can include details about how purchased content was accessed or delivered so Apple can make an informed refund decision.
