Travel through Messina on an orientation tour of the city passing the main points of interest along the north coast to reach Cape Peloro, the closest point to the mainland. After a brief stop, return to Messina to visit the Cathedral, rebuilt almost entirely after the 1908 earthquake, with an interesting carved central door from the 15th to 16th centuries.
