Those of you who delight in ancient history can not miss this tour. Many ancient civilizations have left their marks, which you will discover in Málaga's rich archaeological remains and fascinating monuments. From the outside, you will admire the beautiful architecture of the Alcazaba Palace a historic castle built in the 11th. century to be the residence of the Arabian Caliphs or Kings. It is connected by a step path to Gibralfaro Castle, an ancient Moorish fortress which offers breathtaking views of the city and its bay. ( See from outside) The buses will take all of you joining this tour up to the Castle so you won't have to walk up the hill. Next, the Renaissance style Cathedral awaits you. The Cathedral of the Incarnation of Malaga is one of Renaissance jewels more valuable of Andalusia. It is within the limits that the missing Arab wall marked, forming a great architectonic set along with the next Fortress and Castle of Gibralfaro. It was constructed between 1528 and 1782, following the planes of Diego de Siloé. The interior is of baroque style. The Basilica, of rectangular plant, is composed by three ships, being the one of the center of greater width than lateral, but all the equal ones in height. The ashlar masonry of the choir, work of Pedro de Mena, is a true work of art. Vista of the tower without finishing of the Cathedral of MálagaSu facade, on the contrary, is of Renaissance style and is divided in two floors. In the floor of down there are three arcs and within these, separated doors by marble columns. Also, a brief stop will be made in Plaza de la Merced and after visit will take you back to the port and to the ship.
