Arrived in Taormina in 1884 Lady Trevelyan married the mayor prof. Salvatore Cacciola. The garden becomes the property of the town since 1922 and inside you can still admire the particular constructions made built by Lady Trevelyan ornamental purposes, called Victorian follies. The gardens are a viable alternative to crowding of the central streets. Their paths are nestled among magnolias, hibiscus and bougainvillea bushes perfectly groomed. After the visit to the Villa Comunale enjoy your refreshment before you return to the ship.
