Delight in Skagway’s fascinating history and spectacular mountainous scenery as you travel to the White Pass Summit and onward to the border of the Yukon territory. You'll experience the historic White Pass Trail of '98 from two different perspectives. First ride along the White Pass & Yukon Route Railway via a vintage rail car hearing tales of the Klondike Gold Rush. Next, arrive at Fraser, British Columbia, and board a motor coach to continue north through Tutshi Canyon to the border of Yukon territory. Stretch your legs with a photo stop at the "Welcome to Yukon" sign before reboarding your motorcoach. Next, arrive at the Yukon Suspension Bridge where you will have time to explore on your own, enjoy a hearty bowl of bison chili and take an optional jaunt across the thrilling suspension bridge for which the venue is named. While at the bridge, experience the sensation of a swaying walkway 57 feet above the rapids of the Tutshi River. Enjoy the scenery from the main platform and then walk through the museum-quality displays that detail the area's unique human and natural history. Finally, your motorcoach will depart down the scenic Klondike Highway. Take in spectacular views of waterfalls and alpine valleys as you make your way back to the ship.
