View an amazing collection of wildlife during this tour of the Otago Peninsula Headland which is arguably the most precious wildlife habitat in New Zealand. Start with a one-hour scenic drive along the picturesque shores of Otago Harbor. Then embark on an approximately one hour-30 minute exhilarating off-road adventure that includes impressive city and rugged coastline views. Here amongst truly spectacular scenery, significant breeding colonies of wildlife can be seen and can include the rare Yellow Eyed Penguin, the world’s smallest penguin, the Little Blue, New Zealand Fur Seals and their Pups, Cormorants, and a wide array of other species that call Natures Wonders home. Travel around the wildlife reserve on an 8-wheel drive Argo and then swap to a mini coach and vice versa for an informative commentary while driving through the scenic property or stay on board the coach if that’s more your style. Wildlife is best viewed off the vehicles and informative guides will be there to assist along the way.
