You will be guided through the old city centre of Cartagena to the Market Hall. This area produces some of the country´s best fruit and vegetables, known as “the orchard of Europe” and you can see why every time you visit a market. Slowly strolling through the aisles watching the interaction between stallholders and their customers, you will find season vegetables, fruits and fabulous fresh fish presented in each stall, where you will be treated with a local specialty to taste. Afterwards at the Restaurant while you enjoy a refreshing sangria, the local chef prepares all necessary tools and ingredients to cook his specialty: paella (or caldero). You will learn the step by step and the secrets to cook it. Finish off your meal with a perfect ending, a local delight from Cartagena, called café Asiático.
