Immerse yourself in Kochi's rich samurai history on this journey past the town's iconic landmarks, viewing Aki District's Nora Clock and its samurai house, followed by lunch and visits to the Kochi Castle and Katsurahama Beach. Begin your journey at the Aki District where you'll admire Nora Clock. The clock worked for over 120 years before stopping. Then, you'll visit an old samurai house and learn about how the samurai lived in the 19 th century. Enjoy a much-deserved break at a local restaurant where you'll savor a Japanese-style lunch, after which you'll travel to Kochi Castle, one of Japan's few authentic castles, where you'll marvel at an incredible view of the city. Finally, you'll see the Japanese Samurai bronze statue at Katsurahama Beach. The samurai, Sakamoto Ryoma, is dressed in a Japanese Samurai Kimono. From the beach, you can take in distant views of the Pacific Ocean.
