Framed by a coastline of great beauty that draws its outline in the form of bays and coves, taking refuge in part from the fierceness of the ocean with the Estelas islands first and then the Cíes islands. Patos beach is a long stretch of sand bordered by rocks, making it one of the longest beaches in Vigo. It is one of the most beautiful beaches, offering an excellent view of the Cíes Islands. The Patos Beach has a Blue Flag award, is an international award given to beaches, marinas and sustainable tourism boats. It is located in the Carreira inlet and its starting point is Punta do Portiño. It is located in a semi-urbanised environment. It has a white, fine-grained sandy base. It is a sheltered, windy beach with moderate waves and waters cold all year long. It is a quiet and large beach to spend the day with the family and enjoy all that this beach and its surroundings have to offer. Please note that there are no hammocks and umbrellas offered on the beach, it is Natural Environment Beach with services nearby. Guest must bring their own towels.
