Participate in one of Cozumel's best-kept secrets–the Save a Sea Turtle program. Every evening the turtles hatch and make their way to the sea, but only about 80 percent of the hatched turtles make it to their ocean destination. On this tour, you'll help local volunteers rescue the 20 percent of hatchlings that are not able to reach the water. Once the turtles recover and their inner organs have matured, they are released and reintroduced to the wild. Proceeds from this excursion are donated to the Save a Sea Turtle program. At the end of this once-in-a-lifetime experience, a stop will be made at a beach club so you can enjoy a swim and relax at the beach.
