Starting in Philipsburg, the Dutch side capital of St. Maarten, we will take you to Marigot, the French side capital, where you will have a photo-stop in a truly European atmosphere, with waterside open-air markets, quaint shops, boutiques, and sidewalk cafes as your background. After your brief sojourn in Marigot, we will continue through the island’s scenic countryside with beautiful lagoon views and a chance to see St. Maarten’s latest infrastructure, the Causeway Swing Bridge, where you may spot magnificent mega yachts, depending on the time of year and on the selected route and traffic conditions. The journey then proceeds across the south for views of Simpson Bay Lagoon, where we will stop at a local Rhum Distillery for a free tasting of various flavors. Your experience concludes at the Old Amsterdam Cheese store for a free tasting of premium Dutch cheese selections.
