Join us, experience Bonaire's highlights and enjoy our beautiful crystal-clear water at Sorobon Beach. We start at the dockside heading towards the Southern part of the Island. Our first stop will be at the beautiful, pink-colored Salt Flats and towering mounds of dry salt. You will gain extensive knowledge provided by your tour guide about these impressive salt flats and how they are still being used today. Your next stop will be at the history-rich slave huts. Here you will be able to take pictures and experience how the slaves used to live on the coast and where they worked. Afterward, you will continue your journey to Bonaire's first lighthouse “Willems Toren” which was built in 1837. Locals stop here to collect pieces of driftwood in interesting shapes and to build fanciful pyramids from objects that have washed ashore. En route to “Sorobon” beach at Lac Bay where you will experience a nice and relaxing 2-hour beach break, your guide will be on the lookout for the leggy, pink shy flamingo, with its deep pink coral feathers. Amongst the landscape and seascape, you’re also likely to see donkeys and goats commonplace in the area. At “Sorobon” beach you will have a spectacular view of the entire Lac Bay area. The beach chair and entrance fee are included. At the end of the beach break, we will drive you back to your ship. After your beach break at “Sorobon” beach, you will experience a nice sightseeing drive through the typical Caribbean Mangroves of Bonaire when we make our way back to your ship in Bonaire’s capital Kralendijk.
