Experience St. Maarten's stunning seascapes and get close to nature on this beautiful hour and a half hike that leads you from Guana Bay to Geneve Bay beach. Stand before the craggy shoreline of Guana Bay on the east side of the island. Then head out on foot along a 1.1 mile trail of natural footpaths that offer clifftop views of clear-blue waters crashing magnificently into the rocky coastline. These hillsides are laced with prickly cacti, tropical trees, and colorful flowers. Hike to the crescent-shaped, pebbled beach skirting Geneve Bay, where you can take in spectacular views of neighboring island and listen to the crashing waves. At trail's end you'll sip on a complimentary beer or soda with your fellow hikers before heading back to port.
