Upon departing from the ship, and once you have collected your luggage at the pier, you will board the bus and begin your scenic 90-minute drive to Rome passing through the Etruscan countryside with pleasant views of the Tyrrhenian Sea. Once in Rome, you will meet your guide you will follow for an insightful look at Rome’s most important landmarks, including the Colosseum (outside view only) followed by brief time for photos, the Roman Forum (exterior visit), and the Trevi Fountain. At the conclusion of your tour, you will rejoin your coach and proceed to a central location, Ostiense train station where taxis are readily available to take you to your local hotel.
