This fun excursion is loaded with spectacular views and intriguing spots shown via a comfortably outfitted open air safari truck which affords you a 360° panoramic view. Travel from the Cruise Terminal into the heart of the bustling town of St. George’s and on to the H. A. Blaize Street to the village of Tanteen. The tour continues up Lowthers Lane with scenic views of the Port, the historic Fort George and the newly constructed Parliament building. The first stop at the antique but beautiful Fort Frederick will leave in awe of some of the most picturesque sceneries to be found anywhere and where you can capture photographic memories to last a lifetime. The awesome sceneries continue along the Morne Jaloux ridge and along the Eastern coastline, A detour inland through agricultural villages to the historic Battle Hill will give you a glimpse of the way of life in the rural areas and more of our island’s very colourful history, before continuing onto the town of Grenville. From the town of Grenville, the tour continues through the central spine of the island via the rolling but scenic hills of the Grand Etang Forest Reserve onto the magnificent Grand Etang Crater Lake and welcome Center to be refreshed and capture more photographic memories; you may even be lucky to catch a view of or interact with the Mona monkey! The tour then continues through the rainforest and villages of Vendome, Beaulieu, Tempe and back to port via Lowthers Lane, the world famous Carenage taking in some of our old Georgian architecture and the historic Sendall Tunnel.
