Your adventure begins with a scenic drive through the heart of Castries, St. Lucia's capital and a vibrant port city. As your coach ascends to the Morne Viewpoint, have your camera ready for breathtaking photos of Castries Harbor and the flora and fauna that surround you on the mountain. Then, it's off to Eudovic's Art Studio where you'll watch a wood carving demonstration and marvel at the artist's creations. Another drive through Lucia's lovely countryside brings you to Fond Latisab Creole Park, one of the first cultural heritage sites to be developed. Here, you'll get a glimpse of St. Lucia's culture, flavors, and history as you sip a glass of refreshing fruit juice. Watch a cassava bread-making demonstration and sample the bread, fresh and fragrant from the oven, dappled with nutmeg jam or banana sauce. Stroll through a garden of spice-scented trees and watch a two-handed sawing demonstration. Finally, delight in a spirited live dance and music performance before returning to the ship with an enhanced appreciation of the Creole culture and St. Lucia's unique charms.
