Paddle down Spain's Minho River on a two-person kayak and take in the verdant scenery in this little corner of Galicia in the far northwest of Spain. The river, known as the Miño in Spanish, is wide and calm. From its source near the city of Lugo, the river flows south until turning west in its journey toward the sea, when it becomes a natural border between Spain and Portugal. You’ll be given all the equipment you need for your kayak ride, as well as a short training session by experienced guides. The river is ideal kayak-style exploring, making this tour suitable for beginners and experienced kayakers alike. You’ll debark in the port city of Vigo and board your tour bus for a scenic ride to your kayaking departure point. After exploring the Minho for 90 minutes, you will again board your tour bus for the return ride to port.
