Strap on a helmet, pick up a bike and take off toward Almedalen on the Hanseatic Harbor, where you can see the old Powder Tower Kruttornet (the Gunpowder Tower), which survives from the 12th century and is the oldest secular building in all of the Nordic countries. Cycle along the wall, passing by the Maiden's Tower and up to Klinten to enjoy the view over the city and the Baltic Sea. Continue through the lovely Gotland countryside until you reach Hogklint, a massive limestone cliff high that affords spectacular views of the coastline and Visby. Continue to Fridhem and Princess Eugenie's summer residence, where you'll relax over coffee or tea and cakes.
