Explore Los Tilos de Moya, located in the north of Gran Canaria within the Doramas Natural Park, about a 40-minute ride from the pier. The walk starts at Camino de los Tiles near the town center and follows a canyon where a spring feeds rich vegetation as the valley narrows and its walls rise over 100 meters. You’ll spot endemic plants, including trees from the ancient Laurisilva forest unique to Macaronesia. On the return to Firgas, you’ll pass an irrigation ditch (acequia) that showcases the Canary Islands’ water culture. The route ends in Firgas, the “Village of Water,” where you’ll see an impressive monument to the island’s towns and enjoy local delicacies at a nearby restaurant before returning to the ship.
