Try to spot the legendary mythical Loch Ness Monster as you cruise across Scotland’s most famous loch, taking in all its serene beauty. Travelling south-west from Invergordon, we follow the banks of the beautiful Cromarty Firth, then drive via Muir of Ord and Beauly (‘beautiful place’), with the final descent down a steep hill towards the stupendous Loch Ness. . Upon arrival at the loch, we take a cruise out onto the famous waters, learning about its geology, history and, of course, its tales of Nessie. Make sure to have cameras at the ready for any monster sightings, and the dramatic mountainous scenery which surrounds the loch. After our cruise we proceed to Inverness “Capital of the Highlands”, for a brief city tour. The town is full of historic sites, such as the gothic-style Town House and Tollbooth Steeple. From here we return to the ship at Invergordon.
