Your adventure begins with a fascinating historic tour led by your knowledgeable guide through downtown Skagway and along nine miles of breathtaking coastline to our Musher’s Camp in Dyea. From there, you will embark on an exciting ride up a rugged mountain road in our specialized unimog, surrounded by stunning glacial streams and waterfalls. Upon reaching the top, you will be greeted by your musher and a team of energetic Alaskan Huskies, ready to take you on an exhilarating ride down a mile-long trail deep within the Tongass National Rainforest on a custom-designed, wheeled sled. After your thrilling ride, your unimog will take you to a breathtaking overlook of the Dyea tidal flats, surrounded by stunning scenery. Next, enjoy a "Kennel Talk," where we will share fascinating information about dog sledding and answer any questions you may have. You'll also have plenty of time to play with our adorable puppies, whose socialization is essential to their racing success. Finally, your visit will be completed with a cozy fire and a unique gift shop.
