Journey to the Tierra del Fuego National Park, which encompasses 240 square miles and contains a variety of environments, from forests to lakes to mountains. It's home to 90 species of birds, including giant woodpeckers, black-faced ibis, austral pygmy owls (in the southern beech forests) and the kelp goose and steamer ducks in the coastal areas. Explore this and walk through the dense southern beech forest along national route number 3, which includes Beagle Channel, Ushuaia`s peninsula and bridges, and Lapataia Bay. In addition to birds, the park shelters 20 species of land animals and many varieties of unique vegetation.
