This delightful half-day excursion is a special treat for passengers who wish to see the island via scenic drive. Driving away from bustling town heading north of the island waterfront along the beautiful bays at Batu Ferringhi, you will then circle the island, passing traditional villages, old town and plantations. Begin with a visit to the handicraft Batik Factory to see the traditional technique of printing cloth with wax and dye. Malaysian batik is batik textile art in Malaysia, especially on the east coast of Malaysia. Within a short ride, you will stop by to visit the Entopia by Penang's Butterfly Farm, where butterflies and insects are free to come out and play. It is the one of the largest butterfly gardens in Malaysia with approximately 15,000 free-flying butterflies at any one time consisting of up to 60 species. Lastly, you stop at fruits and spices at a stall along the way where the guide will show and explain the multiple exotic fruits and precious spices.
