Destination Highlight: Tokyo Sightseeing with Narita Airport Drop-Off
Extend your cruise delight with an excursion to Tokyo to enjoy some of the city's most iconic sights. Arrive first at Hamarikyu Garden, an Edo-period Japanese garden that has been open to the public since 1946. Be charmed by the beautifully landscaped spaces typical of Japanese gardens, and see the only remaining seawater pond within Tokyo. Next, you'll have free time to stroll the fascinating Ginza district, a world-renowned upscale shopping area, where the latest trends and the oldest traditions meet. Shop at multilevel department stores like Mitsukoshi and Matsuya and enjoy lunch, if you wish. Then, you'll stop at Tokyo Skytree, the television broadcast tower that is the tallest structure in Japan, at a height of 2,080 feet. The Tower, designed in the image of a tree stretching up to the sky, has two observation decks at high and higher levels. The ground floor of Skytree houses a shopping and entertainment complex, as well as an aquarium and a planetarium. After your visit to Skytree, your motor coach will head for Narita Airport.
