Visit Holt in Önundarfjörður. Visit an old farm church built in 1869 and talk about why so many farmers built a church on their farms in the 19th century. Get a cup of coffee and an Icelandic cake at the Holt Inn where you can ask about farming in the rural areas of the Westfjords. Then we go out to the field next to Holt Inn and meet the sheep where you can photograph them in the beautiful surrounding of the fjord. After that, we go down to the sandy beach where you can walk out to a wooden pier in the middle of the narrow mountainous fjord, a scenic view that is very popular amongst the locals.
