Your adventure begins as you board a canopied, Alaskan-built vessel with captain and crew at the ready. Whether you settle into the comfortable cabin or stand on the observation deck, you can immediately begin your search for Alaska's most sighted wildlife: brown bears, birds, sea otters, and yes, maybe even a whale. Throughout the cruise, your tour naturalist provides commentary about the area's remarkable ecosystem, points out places of interest, and will direct your attention to wildlife in its native habitat. When the vessel docks at Fin Island, you'll be treated to a groaning board feast at the Lodge that includes Alaskan crab, wood-grilled wild Alaska salmon, prime rib, specialty side dishes, dessert, and hot or cold beverages, with wine and beer available for purchase. Post feast, continue to enjoy the island's beach and the warmth of a welcoming beach fire, or shop Lodge's gift boutique until it's time for the return voyage. This tour can run in reverse order.
